Track 2: the sound of cerebral German electronic minimalism getting funky.
(I seem to remember avoiding these EPs in the past because they were album priced; the price is now reasonable, so if my memory is not deceiving me, things do sometimes get better.)
- Streaming from Three Lobed Recordings's catalogue on Bandcamp, another label I did not know was there:
Tarentel - Fear Of Bridges
"Gentle yet effective, adventurous yet restrained - Tarentel's "Fear Of Bridges" is an exercise in controlled beauty. Released as a part of Three Lobed Recordings "Purposeful Availment" CD series."
When I realized it was turning 20 I ran out to find a used copy. Fortunately there were lots, probably because of the new remaster. I can't imagine why this needed to be remastered. Sounds good to me.
Working through my ***-rated albums on an alphabetical basis I discover that I don't really like most of my bottom-drawer music that begins with 'I', but 'J' is a really great letter.

Exploring the edges with Spotify
Don't watch House or urgently want to hear Hugh Laurie sing, but that thread did get me listening to Cab Calloway.
