  • I started out open to the idea, then alternated between liking it and hating it, sometimes in really rapid succession, but by the end, I was definitely on board with the whole thing. In a1/0 world I'd give it a 1, but couldn't rate it better than that without more listens. Worth the time to stream it though.
  • Xerxes - free ambient metal album from Iran.

Plainville - Jeremy Udden. No cover as broadband speed problems have returned! Downloading is impossible, so it is good that I have no credits at emusic that need using today!
  • Valk Trio - At Work

Thanks for the introduction to Jeremy Udden, Jonah, via AAJ DOTD. I'm hoping his latest album will eventually be available on emusic in the UK! As you can see my internet connection is back to normal.

This will be my last post on this thread for a week or so, as we go away tonight for a week in the wet English Lake District. I hope I'll be able to keep uptodate with blog/zine developements etc via my ipad occasionally

  • The Shadow Ring - I'm Some Songs - mentioned in an aside in a tmt review as an album that "sounds wrong at any speed" - it does, and I love it.
