Young British band. They have had a couple of Bandcamp releases, but this is their first on a label. Available on emusic. If you like Big Band you'll like this recording. You can hear in full at their website where you can also access a couple of videos of them playing live ar Ronnie Scott's in London. Direct link to streaming.
I really like this, so play again time. Jonah, you certainly need to have a listen - streaming of whole album on link on previous post about this album
@BN, reminds me of a snippet of TV documentary I saw years ago in the UK. It was about some guy whose hobby was collecting vinyl and playing it simultaneously. He had an apartment that basically consisted of pathways between stacked vinyl and several turntables and he would put multiple records on at once. He said it was most often cacophonous, but that beautiful and interesting harmonies would emerge every now and then.
I think that Beats n Pieces is really good. It was actually one of my Jazz Picks yesterday. I ran into them last week on twitter and really liked their stuff. It's nice they have the bandcamp player embedded on their site.
My Picks made it onto the article on the main site, but they never got posted onto 17 dots. I'm supposed to be getting the Picks under my own byline on 17 dots now, but for some reason, they're not showing.

This album rocks so freakin' hard. It warms my '90s music loving heart.

From the Free Stuff thread, highly recommended.
More '90s nostalgia. Think I'll hit the real thing next.

I agree - a great find, thanks all, but especially Plong
Keeping the world vibe going. Thanks, Doofy. Antimonotonia reminds me of something, can't put my finger on it.

Free 2-disk comp of experimental stuff.
ETA: Enjoying this.
Just worked out that it was 43 years ago that I used to play this time after time!!
