Courtesy of Netflix. Some very nice playing with a real good view of his technique. But I do wish her played more of his funky/groovey material and less noodling about.
Started streaming Ibrahim Djo Experience from Bandcamp, then switched to the Last.FM "radio" page, so I am getting a nice mix of African, Tinariwen-influenced music.
Free collection of floaty, serene, ethereal, going-to-sleep style ambient. A few familiar names (Lucette Bourdin, Benjamin Dauer, Philip Wilkerson, Altus, Tange). Some nice tracks.

Possessed of an omnivorous musical curiosity, over the course of his career, he has explored many of the issues of concern in contemporary music, from serialism and aleatoric techniques, through opera, improvisation, graphic notation and electronics, always through the lens of his intense expressionist aesthetic. . . . .
