For me here in North London we seem to have a lot of well stocked Charity Shops, the nearest stores were both HMV with little stock in them, I suppose that is part of their problem. I use the Fopp store in Covent Garden when I am in town,
Minnesota Band with Alan Sparhawk (Low) and Gaelynn Lea who plays violin. Lovely music - I can't remember how I heard of them, but the videos that are linked to the cover of their EP enticed me to buy the 7 song EP.
Bruce Ackley - soprano and tenor saxophones
Steve Adams - alto and sopranino saxophones
Larry Ochs - tenor and sopranino saxophones
Jon Raskin - baritone and alto saxophones
This album is wonderful. "Nothing Arrived" is already my favorite song of the year :-). It's practically on repeat until my deluxe LP of Fade arrives...
Just got a newsletter from future recordings, and looking at their site reminded me of this, which got posted here once or twice a year or two back. Rather pretty.

I agree Thom - a great album. For those in the UK it is £3.99 at Amazon this week.
