More Muhal. Last year at the Jazz Fest, he was part of a great "Legends" show with JdJ, Roscoe Mitchell, and Henry Threadgill...Reportedly they recorded together while in town, wonder if that's coming out soon?
Samba Meets Boogie Woogie: a 2008 project that finally was introduced at eMu. The large ensemble plays 40s ang 50s Brazilian music under the influence of American Boogie. Eclectic, light, and really fun.
Good to have you back Lowlife - fancy a recently available manager at Spurs next season? Rumour is that Levy wants him.... (Sorry to all who do not understand the machinations of the Premier League rumour mill!)
Various Artists - Big Fish in a Little Sea; Music from Amherst, Massachusetts
Scribbling this would probably help out my obscurity score a bit. I bought this maybe in 1993 in a used/cut-out bin, because it had a Sebadoh song on it, and I'd heard of them. It's extremely obscure and random, and I enjoyed it a great deal. Then I lost it toward the end of the college year when a friend started stealing things from people's room and selling them (I assume now for drug money although at the time I was too naive for that to be the natural assumption). I periodically searched for it through the years and finally recently found a reasonably priced copy on amazon. Once again enjoying it a great deal!

Thanks Greg, who knows who we will get at the Lane next season, its been a hard one this year. I can wait for the season to be over but as usual will be watching the game in the pub tomorrow with the " Born to Suffer" gang!
Lowlife - I felt the same until Monday about this season, but 4 big games coming up, my prediction is 5 goals against Norwich tomorrow. Burn to Suffer is about right for Spurs - all my wife's family expect them to loose, even if two goals up and 10 minutes to go...

One thing about Merril Garbus, she doesn't make it easy to type her band/album names.
