- Track 2, Pop'eclectic is a kind of mash-up of Pink Floyd, Small Faces and an array of more or less recogniseable "pop" tracks.
Totally brilliant . . .
ETA: and track 3, Du Pop à l'âne, BP mashes Mothers of Invention, The Doors, Ford Theatre and God knows what . . . WOW !
Listening to a continuing legal education webcast: "Doing Business in Foreign Countries". It basically amounts to 3 retired U.S. ambassadors trading war stories.
Interesting, but I'm not sure how this will advance my career.
Relative of my wife's is a retired (Canadian) diplomat, including times in SE Asia during the Vietnam War and Eastern Europe at the end of the Soviet Union. He has got stories.

1982 - "A/B"
-First listen underway. No strong impression yet. Chamber music. Relatively interesting. IIRC, 1982's last album was one of my very first eMu Jazz Picks back in the day when I first started writing the column. On the Hubro label, which puts out some pretty interesting stuff.

ETA: Remembering the good old days when the entire Mosz catalogue was available on Amie Street:
In yesterday's mail...12/12/1969 with a bonus disc with 6 songs from the previous night. So far, great recording/performance.
Joel Harrison & Anupam Shobhakar Multiplicity - "Leave the Door Open"
Harrison's genre-bending style of guitar and Shobhakar's Indian classical background on sarode. Cool stuff.
