My goodness ! . . . a grindcore version of In C - Well, so far there's not much grindcore about it. I could imagine that they thought it was fun to call all their releases grindcore.
- 33 minutes In: It actually seems like yet another brilliant and respectful version.
I'm looking forward to check out this one: It's 0,49 € at €mu
ETA: I've heard quite a lot of In C versions. It is really a magic framework Terry Riley has created. It seems like once the musicians click into the frequency, magic begins to happen.
Well, seeing that latest Tindersticks arrival reminded me how much I've missed remembering Lhasa de Sela. Darned old brain. Here's my response on emusic from 2010 news that she had passed.
So sad indeed. My wife gifted me with that album last August and we fell in love with her. If you haven't heard De Cara A La Pared yet, do yourself a favour and download track 2 from this album. If that track makes you want even 4 seconds more of her, then get track 8 from this album. She also can be found on this terrific album Duos tôt Ou tard. See if track 13 doesn't just make you float around the room, and by all means, download Lhasa from where ever you can. You won't be disappointed.
We just returned from our holiday, only to read this. It's as sad as falling in love with Eva Cassidy.
-always sad, sad, sad
So happy to see this
Back to the begin (almost) with thanks to @Brighternow
. . . .'Flesh Decomposed' is visual and hallucinogenic, exploring a range of
unusual atmospheres and emotions - from the strange sense of memory
invoked in a long forgotten object in the dusty 'Older Jug' - to lively
pulse of fleshy life contained in the musical squirms of 'Larval
Therapy' - and most of all throughout hints towards a kind of beauty,
most clearly unveiled in the final track 'Wind' - which seeks the ghost
that has long since left the shell.

This is on the Eremite label, which has dribbled a few things to eMusic in recent weeks.
