^^^^^^ These guys do a great job of mix and conceal even tho certain editions tell you exactly what they're sampling. A little more nudge toward my trip to Aarhus next year.

Yeah ? - That makes me curious wether your visit is music related . . .
WOW! OK, here's something I can get all pee-my-pants excited about: a new album, after over 30 years, from Peter Baumann. Going on 40 years later, I still listen to "Romance '76" often and this album is closer in feel to that first album of his.

Well, it's getting a little too dark to dig so I'm going straight to this. I thought I recognized that name and who could resist that kind of endorsement.
ps - I only remember him through the Tangerine Dream connection. I haven't heard "Romance '76" yet and I can't bring myself to listen to music that I can't access through my library. I'll look forward to finding it there one day.
Baumann/Koek is another hitherto undiscovered treasure of German electronic music, the only album by the electronic music pairing of Wolfgang (not Peter!) Baumann and Ata Koek, both from Kempten, Bavaria. It was mixed in Conny Plank's studio and distributed, without a label, by the duo themselves in 1978. The music owes much to the Berlin School: layered sequencer patterns, swirling chord tapestries, a computer beat here and there.
