Those of you who have enjoyed the band I Think You're Awesome should probably check this one out...
I Just Came From The Moon - "Hoax"
It's released by Jaeger Community, which, actually, I believe also released some of the ITYA albums. They also released the new one from Jakob Sorensen, which is really good.
Haven't played this in decades! That's the problem with too much music to listen to.....
Well, you had me heading for the vinyl. I've got 13 albums, from Empty Sky to Blue Moves (29 in total counting 2nd & 3rd replacements- yes, I still keep those too just in case). 3 copies of Tumbleweed Connection - still my favourite. Thanks for reminder!

Ps. Just a terrific morning of listening and this was a perfect fit for heading for the garden, as it's now light enough to see.
Thanks Greg, just grabbed my copy of Blue Moves, one of his most underrated albums
I couldn't agree more and oddly it was the last Elton John album I got. The only track I have in itunes is a duet with Leon Russell. I guess I just drifted off in another direction.
Turns out it's a little too wet to do much outside right now, so I'll have a listen to some of the things that have made made my ears perk-up while listening to the garden rotation. This is certainly one. Catherine Sikora, Han-earl Park, Nick Didkovsky & Josh Sinton - Anomic Aphasia
Omdrejninger (Rotations) is a project conceived by sound-installation artist
Christian Skjødt and composer, and guitarist Mark Solborg aiming at
investigating and challenging the listening experience for both
musicians and audience. A site-specific work for ensemble, space and
loudspeakers.
“..a sensation of a spatial instrument with the powers to lift and take off with all of us.” - Laura Berivan Nilsson, Omlyd
Line-up: Axel Dörner, Ingar Zach, Jakob Kullberg, Michael Rexen, Mark Solborg, Christian Skjødt.
Having been mainly focused on jazz and ambient for a while, I completely missed John Foxx's recent resurgence. This really scratches my enduring itch for what cool music sounded like in my head when I was 15, while bringing it up to date as well. Going to have to invest in this series of albums, I think.
Glad to have 'led' a couple of you back to Elton John. A while back I bought a boxed set of five of his earlier albums - including the two played here, along with Elton John, Madman Across the Water and Honky Chateau. I'd only played a couple and hadn't added to iTunes. I've got the Elton John and Leon Russell album but not Blue Moves. I'll check that out later on Amazon prime.
Thanks for getting me to spend some time with the vinyl yesterday (this year's winter project). Had a great time thinking about the past. Dimitri from Paris - Get Down With The Philly Sound EP Philly Devotions, Carl Bean, Charles Mann & TJM

Both albums will have a write-up soon.
Here's some Soundcloud action...
I took some liberties and used this as the album art.
Ps. I really enjoyed the Symphonie, made me think of Suzy Creamcheese.
& even though the Concerto was missing track 4, another enjoyable listen.
Now, off to the garden.
