Novisad - Sirens From New & Notable Sept 16 & finally a chance to hear it in total instead of fading in & out of the garden. Thanks!
BTW I haven't been able to log-in at lastfm without it shutting down this computer. Still saving like crazy for a new one but 2 sensors went out on the Mini, so that'll set it back a bit. Darned Cars!
Really good album which as usual E Music have got his previous album but not this one released recently, sadly a trend that seems to happen to quite a lot
After spending a couple of days sorting out 10 years worth or whatever it is of Emu purchases so I can actually you know find stuff, I'm back on the clearing up old external drives. This was the last album I sorted out and it makes a fine Sunday morning listen.
Good Clastrier album. In the early 80s, I was asked by John Ralyea – an expert on the hurdy-gurdy – to write a modern piece of music for the instrument because, at that time, one did not exist. So, after some study of the instrument, I wrote “Underground Area One” and it was later published by the "Hurdy-Gurdy Press" in ’82.

That's a great, er, story, well history. Any online link to a recording of same? I note our man plays a 23 string version (very Illuminati of him!) I also appreciate the link he makes between the development of the instrument and the Cathar "heresy". (Not sure if that is a fact, but interesting none-the-less!)
