I've been listening to that great Sorey album for about 6 weeks - even included it in my radio show. One of the very best of the year methinks. It's a good combo of jazz and modern composition filled with all kinds of colors.
For some reason, I've never really warmed to Soundcloud. I have an account, but only have one piece uploaded and it was for a compilation on iceberg sounds. There's a forum that I like to get emails from that uses Soundcloud for uploads of projects, but there's something about it that doesn't attract me. Maybe it appears too cold natured? Can't explain. If I decide to ever post works regularly, I'd probably just open a Bandcamp account.

I find it very useful for keeping in touch with artists and labels and what they are currently working with.
Should have mentioned a couple of tracks at Soundcloud/Bandcamp, including one of the long 'movements.' Being able to stream whole albums at Bandcamp has spoiled me! I suppose it might be found on Spotify (?)
I like it too, @rostasi, but there is a learning (listening) curve! I am 3 spins in and many more to go. The review links above are informative, eg, that it is composed music with improvised/conducted passages, which now I want to listen for
@Doofy: It's encouraging to see some of the ideas of Butch Morris being implemented by younger composer/performers.
Also, I forgot to mention in the previous post that I understand that the "Groups" area of Soundcloud will be no more as of later this month, so if you're a member of one or more you either got the message or you're getting it now. Don't have an exact date because I got the message from someone else, but it shouldn't be too hard to find (I hope).
Federico Durand - El Estanque Esmeralda (blew a booster pack the other day loading up on most of Durand's back catalog, having loved his 12k release this year).
Well, it's raining again. While checking the SFL I see lots of new Celer additions. I'll start here. Celer - Tetra released July 6, 2016 Ps- Well, I just couldn't get into this piece. Seemed a little too simple, but there's lots more to chose from. Now's when I wished that the Emusic sample player was working for me.

Rode down to my happy place today. Too bad you can't see the window display better, it is pretty groovy
Thanks again for the introductions. Emusic

Curious to know what others would think of this - Not freely listenable, unfortunately
