Actually I no longer seem to be able to d/l from Ubuweb, can anyone recommend software that won't try and dump rubbish on my h/d or corrupt my browser? I was gradually building a library from the Wolf Fifth Archive but that was 2018 or so. 4K YouTube to mp3 won't work but it's normally good for YT and other sources.

After a little more messing about. Something seems to have changed but if you click on an individual sound file to stream it you get the 3 dots on the right which you can click to get a direct download, no software required. It means going one track at a time but that's fine; it is just a small side project and I have more than enough other music that needs listening to and sorting.

One last note. Those three vertical dots on the right appear in Chrome not in Firefox at least using Windows 8 - you have been warned!

Well after all that fiddling about I had to listen to something from the Ubuweb's Wolf Fifth Archive and after that relax with Coltrane's last great Bop album before he moved onto other things.
