Returning for his third album on Edition Records, 'Dahab Days' demonstrates the British guitarist's signature sound with fresh and lyrical new music. Featuring long-time collaborators Alice Zawadzki, Byron Wallen and Steve Buckley, the new record pushes the envelope and establishes Rob as one of the key members of the UK's thriving jazz scene.
Working with concrete and instrumental sounds, field recordings, and
electronics, Ahti favours neither disjunctive collage nor monolithic
consistency; rather, her work is composed of organically unfolding
sequences of details and textures, which, as she says, ‘can stretch out
or cut fast as long as they have a sense of inner stillness’

I first came across him while on a search for Cabaret Voltaire at the archives. I couldn't resist that album cover. I've enjoyed what I've heard so far and look forward to a full listen. I found he's also at Bandcamp - archive.org Hox Vox - Hox Vox is a multimedia brand (music, videoclips, graphics), started in 1979, by Hox (b. Norwegian folk-jazz come post rock. From way back in 2006. I think I missed this one as my first splurge of enthusiasm for everything Rune Grammofon was over by the turn of the millenium, previously I'd bought the collection Supersilent 1-3 direct from the label because I couldn't find it in London after seeing a stonking show at the South Bank.
Now this is a bit funny considering I'm a total Hubro fan boy, but I only own the Bow Shoulder album. I must correct that as soon as I get over this @confused inspired Internet Archive deep dive! Currently listening to this bit of deep floaty ambience.
@confused I ended up buying the three Hubro Huntsville albums yesterday and then subjecting the wife to them. Not sure what she thought (she normally goes along happily with my choices) but I'm glad you got mileage. Husky Rescue is new to me.
I am still part-way through (it's two and a half hours long) but my first impression is that this is the best of the whole Tone Science series - never a dull moment so far.

I've been looking forward to a full listen since you posted this last spring. I got this first album from Emusic and the others are on loan. Last played in 2017 and 5 star rating, I really wanted to hear some more before the Hs come around again. I'll keep an ear out For The Middle Class.
