Take good care of my baby was a mega hit in Denmark.
Just heard the title track to that new album (whole thing is on You Tube if you can stomach the adverts in-between songs). String sardonic and funny as hell.
The great Victor Bailey. Massively talented bass player and by all accounts an extraordinarily nice guy. How good was he? When Jaco Pastorius left Weather Report, Vic got the gig.
Heard earlier, got me playing Sportin' Life for the first time in 20+ years. Slick but good (the band not particularly Victor Bailey). Would you recommend any particular album from his solo career?

In memory of the wonderful Pauline Oliveros I offer up this recording I
made in December 2015 at the Ace Hotel, as Morton Subotnick, Ellen
Fullman and Pauline shared their recollections of the San Francisco Tape
Music Cente and all the amusing stories surrounding it :-
Yet another this year. Most people in Britain will recognise him for his Christmas single, played endlessly every year. It does a disservice to his massive talent.
Good to see Bad Thoughts above, welcome back, you are missed
Thanks, Greg. I do check in every few days. My listening has become somewhat unremarkable. Moreover, my son's interests and needs are eating up more and more income.
