The Spotify links take you to a page where you can jump to the album if you have Spotify installed. I didn't use spotify: links because they don't work on all devices.
- First response: I don't need yet another Explotions in the Sky clone. . .
- Second thoughts: This is very well executed instrumental / post / psychedellic kind of stuff, with the "passion buttom" turned all the way up !
- Definitely worth a spin.

You're built like a car, you've got a hub cap diamond star halo
You're built like a car, oh yeah
Another of the greatest rock lyrics. I should try this as a pickup line sometime. Girls and their Cars - Raluca by Matt DeWitt Photography, on Flickr
I tried to honor Mr. MacManus' request and listen to the album in sequence, but the Spotify ads have no respect for art. I'm now anticipating the phone call: You could have upgraded to Premium before you started the album.
The new Horrors album, streaming from their website:
It's a good record, if you like that late-80's proto-goth Sisters of Mercy/Mission UK vibe. It's a bit more accessible (commercial?) than their last one.

I'm headed to the Hopcat jazz jam session Sunday evening.
- Heavy heavy !
- Also on Lost Children.
Haven't listened in a while, so great. Note to self to call this one to Greg's attention when he gets back.
Downloaded several acts from the 2009, also.

"A fragile and beautifully composed four track suite for piano"
- Oh yes, indeed it is.

- Recommended for everyone with a soft spot for Gavin Bryars Johann Johannsson and maybe even Erik Satie.

My goodness !
This post was my ticket to the 2K club.
$5.99 at that other place, 4 credits at Guvera (even at $4 it's a better deal.)
FINALLY finished getting this on Guvera, after collecting a few tracks at a time over several months to finish up credits!
Oh, and this is a good (mostly) instrumental (post-)rock album.
