"Stunning document of the debut meeting of this international trio. Recorded live at the Playhouse, Kitakyushu, Japan in January 2009, Tima Formosa retains a mysteriously alien atmosphere throughout it's 3 lengthy explorations with Ambarchi's mesmerising textures and signature, deep guitar tones beautifully merging with O'Rourke's Tudor-esque piano-feedback interjections. Haino provides the icing on the cake via his melancholic, higher consciousness choral vocals and bewildering electronics"

Discovered these guys on Amie. Good guitar instrumental post-rock with some edge. This is their new one. A lot cheaper if you buy the one long track on Amazon.
Currently I am playing through albums that I have downloaded in the last 4 to 6 weeks that I have only played generally once. I remember liking this first time round so it deserves another play
I am still astounded at how strongly this album hits me in the heart. Just so damn-ass sublime.
EDIT: OH MY GOD! I just accidentally grabbed the above image from the bandcamp page! I can't believe how easy that was! It was a simple click and drag from one firefox tab to the other. Wow!
EDIT: Well, that Cosa Brava album is certainly interesting. Of course, the moment I saw it was on the Intakt label, I knew it would be a little different.
Comments
Love their first two albums.
The price was right.
The 'in' crowd love it.
How could I resist?
Good find, BN.
Yeasayer - All Hour Cymbals

All 61 songs, in order.

Big Fish by Kiran Leonard: like Yes, but harder. Free and highly recommended.
(I think this rec came from Skogs Gospel)
Not so thrilled with this one. Has its moments. I like their Pjusk stuff a lot better.

Another new Offthesky release, on SEM, Endless Yonder.
The Head and the Heart, current $5 at Amazon. Good folky-indie sound.
Oh Man ! ! !
Great if you like big bands with a modern twist
Kiran Leonard, a 16 year old lad letting it all out full speed ahead . . . I'm impressed !
- Thanks Bad Thoughts.

Moth Enters the Bright Lights - 2010
Here is a photo from his Myspace page:
"This is another release on Tukuringra netlabel, which contains various experiments with synthetic and natural sounds, ranging from calm to harsh."
