@Daniel, Henry Street Grooves is a fantastic listen if--and it is a big if--you like late 80s to mid 90s House. It's a great collection, albeit narrow though that adds to the wonder of it.
i've been listening to lush, noir-ish 50s music this morning, e.g., some richie valens (donna; we belong together); xavier cugat (e.g, miami beach rhumba); los indios tabajares (e.g., maria elena).

Radio Massacre International - Septentrional - (DiN 2006)
- "Septentrional, their inaugral release on the DiN label sees a new approach co-ordinated by DiN label boss Ian Boddy. RMI recorded a series of three hour long improvisations which they handed over to Boddy in multitrack form. These were then sifted through, extensively edited - often in a non-linear fashion, re-mixed with the addition of synthetic percussion layers on three of the five tracks and finally reassembled by Boddy into five new pieces. The result is still definitely an RMI sounding album and captures the feel and spirit of the band but filtered through the sonic excellence listeners have come to expect from this innovative label."
- Excellent - Thank You.
- Aside from this, there's an abundance of DiN albums @ Bandcamp to dig into . . .
You're welcome. I've decided to have a bit of a DiN splurge with this month's credit/budget. I have in the past bought and enjoyed and recommend DiN 22 (excellent), 23, 25, & 28. I found DiN 29 disappointing. Am going to buy DiN 15 and considering 19 and 24.
Many of them are significantly cheaper at Amazon (US) than emusic. (And cheaper at either than on bandcamp, unfortunately).
"For their first No Type release, Milliseconde topographie (the duo of composers Nicolas Bernier and Delphine Measroch), presents two somber and moody tracks, balancing between delicate electronic textures and opulent acoustic instrumentations."

Edit: and get a 24 oz Red Stripe to go with it. End the summer in style. Or something.

Vigilantes of Love, great album, America is a highlight.
Emusic is oopsing something rotten today. Perhaps they are upgrading :-)
I find this superior in every respect to 'A Place in the Sun'.
Shoegaze, as it happens, is an ideal genre for lounging around with the cat on a hot Saturday afternoon. It just takes the edge off the heat, somehow.
Sometimes I like to have it on during football games, instead of the play-by-play...

Still like this one.

LOVE this one. Very cool. (Those who liked Jonas Reinhardt's Powers of Audition may well enjoy this.)
Balance by Frank Bretschneider And Taylor Deupree
Nice and soothing after some rug shopping.
