Thanks, BN.
One perk of laying new floor tiles in the basement - giving one's teenage daughter permission to write graffiti in sharpie on the old floor. It's nice when small things create delight.
This is a free album, and most of it is nice, kind of offthesky territory. But track 4, Thaw, is gorgeous. It also captures it's theme remarkably well - I need to remember to listen to this next spring on a sunny early morning as the ice is starting to drip. Quite lovely and evocative.

I've been playing this after reading GP's thread about Vieux Farka Toure - glad you enjoyed him, GP
I borrowed this from my Library after reading Johanpwll's thread. I'll let you know how I get on...
Sparkling Wide Pressure - In a New Mouth
Second play in two days and I am liking it more
Thanks ScissorMan for introducing me to this band
Terry Riley - In C, by the Shanghai Film Orchestra. Runs about 28 minutes, has a bit of a Chinese feel that other versions do not.
For ScissorMan. Even though I completely agree that NMH is overrated. I still enjoy them now and again.

I bought this secondhand a few weeks ago, and promptly forgot about it! From the first two tracks it sounds promising
