@Lowlife, so how's the new Frank Turner? I'm just now discovering him because of an Emily Barker & the Red Clay Halo song on Bandcamp that had Frank Turner on it. I've had Last Minutes & Lost Evenings on my wishlist.
Eight Classic Albums by Benny Golson - another of those low-rent import CD boxes. Great music though, and a very tasty crew of musicians on these albums.
Mount Analogue by John Zorn: a 39 minute suite exploring mysticism in Eastern European music. This may be as conventional as Zorn gets, bringing eastern melodies and instruments into the context of Jazz performance. Very enjoyable. 99 cents at 7dig.
From the We Are All Ghosts (WAAG) netlabel, run by headphonenaut: Some Hollow Lullabies by emptywhale. Good mix of drones and reverbed piano. Free at archive.org or NYOP at BC.
Where the King Will Land by Postdrome on BLWBCK netlabel. More drones. Unsettling at first, these are sophisticated compositions that are quite beautiful. NYOP
