Picked this up when it was free at Google play. Really did not know much about Bill Withers' music, so it seemed like a chance to learn. I like it quite a bit so far.
Since you mentioned classical and bluegrass dataGuy, this one's worth checking out; a bluegrass band (or bluegrass like band - I know the hardcore fans are pretty picky about that) plays the music of Bela Bartok.
Just been playing the last part of the download of Bruce Springsteen's show in Pittsburg last Saturday. Interesting to note that six of the tracks were also on the free release from 1980. They sound just as good as they did 30 plus years ago, even much of the band is the same. There are few artists who can replicate what they were doing 35 years ago and still make it sound fresh. For example, Elton John's voice is going, Dylan's voice has changed, for example, maybe Neil Young still sounds the same? How many of today's artists will still be on the road in 35 years?
I think Bruce's way of avoiding bootleggers is now to release concerts at a reasonable price. The plan is for every date on the current tour to be available, as was much of his 2014 touring. At around £6/$9.99 for a mp3 download for 37 tracks - 3 plus hours of music, it makes a lot of sense, undercutting the bootleggers at their own game!
On another topic entirely, just in case anyone is starting to think online translation can be relied on these days...I am about to give a lecture to a visiting Korean group about how cultural identity affects interpretation, including how it helps generate differences in theology. I am using a passage from the New Testament, where Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well. I prepared the slide with the passage in English and then in Korean, using an online Korean Bible. Just to double check I had the right passage (my Korean is quite basic) I ran the Korean version through Google translate. Here is an extract:
saying, Go, call your husband come woman answered and said, I have no husband hath not right to say that Jesus is saying you husband. You Is not he your husband, but now that you're truly her husband five doedoda girls Yours. I said, Lord, I am a prophet

Dayme's also part of this fantastic group.
In fact, here they are performing a Bill Withers tune!

So poetic! So wrong!
(This amused me.)
Okay, I don't like the new image stuff. I can never post images.
