So... i from the liner notes of of the Sick of It All album that I just posted I saw that it was recorded in someplace called Garden City, NJ... that reminded me that I had a Discharge album/concert recording from that same location (pretty disappointing recording/album as I recall) anyway.... scanning my physical CD collection I pulled this out to play.....(just like I pulled the Sick of it All album after re-slotting the Lene Lovich disc back into place - random-eye-contact).
... wow... "I won't subscribe to a System that has it's hands around my throat!"
Yeah.. this album makes most of everything else in my collection (in a somewhat similar vein) seem weak by comparison.. I'm looking at you Black Flag, DRI, MDC (maybe not so much), Crass, Slapshot, TAD, Subhumans, Angry Samoans, Corrosion of Conformity, Discharge....wait...did i Just do that?)
ETA: Hey help me out.... What other groups out there approximate Clock DVA's sound/music? I really like it but none of my forays into this genre have yielded much that I can mentally latch onto like this particular album (ie: Front242, Front Line Assembly, etc???)

Great stuff bought it (fairly cheaply) directly from Jazzman on CD and found the Emu version a day later. S. African Ellingtonia just before the Blue Notes went into exile. So seconded by me.

- Leftfield is back as brilliant as they ever have been !
Ok, I shouldn't have had to read that album title so many times before I got the reference.

I just realized or re-realized that this came out before Raw Power. That seems like a de-evolution to me.
As discussed yesterday on the YouTube thread. Compared to the pricey vinyl, a relative bargain at eMusic.
