In Memory of the great Kieth Emerson:
1967
- It was back in the days when Keith invented some rather unusual tecniques with his Hammond Organ, like sticking a knife in between the keys to hold the tone and tossing around with it so the reverb metal spirals clashed together.
Rondo from the same album with Keith full speed ahead !
And finally Bach's Brandenburger Concerto with some great footage of the master at work.
- Alright then, I'll give in . . . one last encore: Jean Sibelius' Karelia Suite
- !975 Line-up / Musicians - Peter Blegvad / guitar, voice - Lindsay Cooper /

My landlord threw me a curveball at the worst possible time, so I've been spending all my time looking for a new place. Plus, I've got a project at the day job that is gonna be looked at by the new governor, the legislature and most certainly the Feds and the press. Between those two things, I have no time or energy to track down and write about music. All I want to listen to is peaceful drone-y music. I'm actually thinking I might write about some of those bands/albums for MiG until I'm ready to really dig back into the jazz and my site... probably once I'm moved into my new place at the end of March (once I've decided where I will, in fact, be living then).
@jonahpwll it goes that way for me too. When work hits a certain pitch, ambient is pretty much all I can listen to. I hope things ease up for you a little soon.
