BassTechCustom TM CORE GENESIS by Wakesleep + Datavis
Really nice bubbling burbling bouncing droning analog synth or sounds like analog synth thing. Was gonna say sounds way better than the cover looks but I think I might actually really like the cover
Like they said, some things are getting cheaper and others more expensive, though since they are renegotiating with labels I bet this is going to be a convenient point for a price increase on a lot of things. It is going to vary by label. So far I have noticed a $2.94 6-track album raised to album-priced $3.99; a $5.99 album up to $6.49; and a $6.49 album reduced to $1.96.
I am trying to decide whether to come off hold just to snap up some things that are currently cheap.
But $7.99 is still a pretty good price for that album :-). (It's $9.49 on Amazon).

Ok, maybe we Europeans are a bit spoiled with the very cheap prices for albums with few tracks. (It's 9 $ on Bandcamp)
Streaming one of my Beta "purchases":
An interesting question is that, once the new site is launched, if it will appear as a purchase and thus be "redownloadable" ?
- I think it's a bit messy to have access to music that are not searchable on my Winamp operated library.
A Portrait of Chet - Georgie Fame on the Beta site. This is not available from emusic in the UK. I need to make sure I play all my 'purchases' before the site closes soon!
The Reverend Eddie Bones is the esteemed American composer, pianist and instrument builder Cooper-Moore’s collaboration with the songwriter and artist Ed Pettersen. These two fresh interpretations of gospel songs are both featured in the new Norwegian TV thriller pilot “The Green Jersey” which is directed by Øystein Karlsen (Dag, Lilliehammer) and recently broadcast in Norway. Recorded live in the studio, this is the second release in Gearbox’s Valve Mastered Sevens series.

Reminds me there were going to be a bunch of other Xanadu re-releases, want to check whether they ever happened.
eMu pricing has often changed with distributors, so wouldn't be surprising to see changes if they are re-doing all those agreements

BTW: Modernhits is an anagram to Otherminds
Conceptually this should be bad, like every other attempt I have heard so far to jazz up classical music pieces. In fact it is really excellent.
Via the beta app, which I will miss, actually. Those other Xanadu re-releases I mentioned yesterday did come out on CD, but apparently not mp3
Prof, I hadn't seen that before, will give it a listen. I see a Bach one too.
Again . . .

- And again, Sooooooo brilliant !
Dalis Car - The Waking Hour
Not sure about the songwriting but I have been a sucker for Mick Karn's bass lines since I was a young teen.
