Glad to see "We Out Here" show up on it's release date on eMusic, @Doofy, and grabbed it this morning. Also happy to see the French "jazz and beyond" label Pince-Oreille suddenly spitting out new releases in 2018 on eMusic including this one today:
Note: the only other P-O release on eMu, from Anne Quillier 6tet last year, shows up under a different spelling of the label (with hyphen). But now there are two new 2018 releases. Could this actually be the rare "positive" label news on eMusic? ;-)
Grab 'em while ESP-DISK' is still there! Funny that Parker gets swapped out for Drake when I normally think of them as a duo. All of this music is pretty exploratory but calm. (Not chill!)
More of that Jazz Biz I've spoken to both these artists at gigs, the difference is I thought Chris Corsano was someone else. He did look at me funny when I came on like an old friend. (This is many years ago!)
