Despite having noticed more than one bryggeri on a recent trip to Norway and learned the word, it was not until I just read the allmusic review for this that I finally made the Miles Davis connection.
Well, this album marks a very fleeting historic moment. A while back I set myself the target of getting the number of albums in my collection not played in the last 36 months to zero. I have worked at this for four or five months, using smart playlists, a lot of listening and some deleting. Well, this was the last album. Until the next album rolls over, there is no music in my itunes library (now slimmed down to 34,000 tracks) that has not been listened to in the last three years.
Now I get to listen to more recent things again. But this was actually fun. At this point in time my own collection is more interesting than emusic's.
