I have Apple Music for a few months on a Verizon promotion and I’m slowly getting used to working in streaming music with all my other rotations; I’m starting to like it, more than any other attempt I’ve made to use streaming music. I still try to get multiple listens of things in and I end up using it a lot just as an easier way to access something that I do “have”. (But what do I have? If I have an mp3 on a hard drive do I have it more than if it’s streaming from some service? Or if I downloaded it and can “keep” it as long as I’m paying for the service?) idk.
An interesting dilema amc2. I use Spotify (with adverts!) and Amazon Prime, but I have been thinking about upgrading to the full Amazon Music Service. I realise that you can download tracks to play offline later. Do you keep themn then until you stop the service? As I use itunes for all my music playing, would Apple Music be a better choice?
@greg: I think you keep the tracks until you no longer have the service but I’m not 100 % sure; I’ve had a few things on my phone for more than 30 days without problem. I’m not sure which one is better either; I don’t know if you can download to a computer and put it on devices? I’ve only been using it on my phone; for that I think I like Amazon’s app better, but maybe that’s just because I’ve used it longer?
Composer and multi-instrumentalist, one of the two heads of the group Art Zoyd from 1971 till 1997, Thierry Zaboitzeff writes nowadays for dance, theater, multimedia events, movies as well as for his own projects and performances.
Kali Malone’s sophomore LP “Cast of Mind” investigates the use of
harmony as a force of psychological impact through the exclusive use of
the Buchla 200 synthesizer in combination with acoustic woodwind and
brass instruments.
A mix of songs from SoundCloud from rapper Medhane and vaporwave artist Skeleton (I downloaded songs from both and made “albums” called “SoundCloud” and my iPod mixed them all together; it works nicely though!)
