@GP - I haven't heard The Yes Album in years, I've still got the LP somewhere. I must play it later. Enjoy Munich, a great city.
@Lowlife - so presumably you missed the game yesterday afternoon too. Some poor VAR decisions, Son should not have been sent off. But an awful game by two bottom half teams!
Thanks GP, this takes me back many decades. If someone told me then that I would still listen to this in 50 years on I would not believe them. But I also would not have believed that I'd be buying Abbey Road again 50 years after its original release.
Well, as work my way through the earlier Johns I'm reminded how much great music I've had the chance to hear. I spent a lot of the 70's listening to music from 20's-50's and I'm still trying to catch up to what they're playing now. John Tchicai
@Confused - thanks for the reminder of John Mayall's Turning Point. I hadn't realised there was a Soundtrack version of the album. For a while I played that LP almost constantly back in the day.I've still got that LP somewhere, but I'll have to check it out on Spotify or Amazon Prime, as I no longer have a turntable.... mistake, I know.
^^^ Greg, I also have that on vinyl and I too just about wore out the grooves. It still has much better sound quality than that soundtrack album which I believe I got at Emusic many years ago with a different album cover. John White
