Probably we'll soon find out that someone else posted that Milli Vanilli post under cafreema's name.
So I saw the Zappa collection and thought to myself, Who wants a Zappa's greatest hits CD, what I'd like to have is 'Shut Up and Play Yer Guitar.' So I looked it up on Amazon, and was not expecting this price! Could be hard to pass up.
The "Naxos" discs continue to come in with some regularity...I've gotten 4 or 5 today, probly close to maxing out on freebies. The label thing is funny; several different labels but all "Naxos Rights Intl." My workday playlist is set for tomorrow morning!
Steve Roach - Live at Grace Cathedral, two long tracks, "album only," which means in this case you have to buy both tracks. Currently a steal at 60 cents.
Both the Rabbit! and Hurray for the Riff Raff were albums I was considering getting, but hadn't due to the price/lack or spare credits - it's good to be able to get them for cheap.
Robinella - Sunday Kind of Love (live). Been listening to this today, from Hank Williams "I'm so lonesome I could cry", Smokey Robinson's "Tracks of my Tears", and even a cover of "I Feel Good." Very cool set, I love her voice.
Thanks for Robinella heads up, got both for five bucks. Its been a lean time on Amie St lately, been ages since anything showed I wanted that was available in my region.
Handshake Grenades by Frankenstein's Calculator Club.
This is what I wrote for the base of my recs...
Odd experimental pop. Sometimes reminds me of Dot Tape Dot, sometimes of Olivia Tremor Control, and sometimes of nothing I can put a name to. One of those bands on Amie St. that you just take a chance on.
From P4K: "Janka Nabay, a producer from Sierra Leone, makes bubu music, an indigenous form of electronic dance music. On March 9, True Panther will release his Bubu King EP, the first record of bubu music to be available outside Sierra Leone."

Seriously.

And they just tweeted that big things will be happening on Friday. Warner?
Rabbit! - Connect the dots (and currently $1.98)
and appears to be same as this (currently $8.98).
BTW- there's a good Joe Walsh Comp that just dropped. Probably everything you'll ever need by him, unless you're a big Eagles fan.

Robinella - Fly Away Bird on Dualtone just dropped as well.
Fred Thomas pre-Saturday Looks Good To Me. Sounds pretty good.

Fantastic, one of the best AmieStreet finds in a while.
