skate-punk/crossover thrash from the UK (!) circa 1988. A little bit, well, stupid, but still really good, especially if you were at all into stuff like this back then.
Chocolate Watch Band does Blue Cheer's second album, call it "No Way Outside /Inside";
what a way to start the day......
their other album on emusic covers same territory.
Avant Garde Folk and Blues inflections, similar to Tom Carter and Scott Tuma, though more song-oriented and with the Takoma guitars clearly to the fore. "House of Knowledge" even has a clear nod to Here Come the Warm Jets.

After years of feeling like electronic music had died, I finally realized I was just looking in the wrong place.

Complete Warner Recording of Allen Toussaint , from last year's great eMu download fest. Still a deal.
This album is just plain cool.
