fwiw I always liked Chairs Missing better than Pink Flag, although I never had both at the same time (Chairs Missing I first got as a cassette in a cut-out bin; same place I got my first Gang of Four Collection - maybe even the same day).
Really enjoying this as part of the the "thanks to my daughter I got up at 4am only to have her fall asleep on the couch at 4:15am while I am wide awake and it's now 2 hours later" experience.
Craig, if you still need more Wire after the classic first three, don't forget Colin Newman's solo albums. A-Z is the place to go after 154. I think it's available on Amie.
For later Wire, Send blew me away on how hard edged it is.
Thanks hoosfoos. I'll keep those in mind, but I think I'm going to try and avoid Wire the next Guvera days. If these downloads keep up much longer though? Well, Send here I come!
A second consecutive gray day means I'll be listening to depressing stuff today.

I'm hitting First Listen like crazy this morning. Right now it's the new Of Montreal.
...And it is tearing me up. One of the saddest and most beautiful things I know about.
When my wife isn't around is when I pull out my Nyman.
With all the free Guvera credits I may end up with the entire Wire catalog.

Figured I should start listening to some of these Amie purchases.
@Craig - I got their first 2 and will be getting 154 today.
More Rhymesayers. More awesomeness.

I love this album so much.

Such an excellent rec, thanks, Thom!
Easily in the top 5 of this year. Beautiful. Desolate.
My developing morning Wire tradition continues.

Chase away that gray, Craig.
Yeehaw!
That's some fine Fela there.
Had to step out of the office for half of Pink Flag, regardless this one seems to be grabbing me more.
this is steadily growing on me.
A great album despite the one star review from an eMu member because "they charge 70 bucks for a concert ticket?"
