Last family vacation, I was subjected to repeated playings of "New York Girls" and dodging hazards on the NJ Turnpike.
The last few days, I took the family "Down East", making up for a few lost days on the previous excursion. Beach, aquarium, old forts--perfect for a little boy.
Unintentionally, I left Bellowhead behind. It caused some upset with the boy when we were 30 minutes out. However, another song soon took its place:
For half an hour each was taken by repeated listening and singing to "Rudy, A Message to You."
One of my first jazz albums, as an early teen I copied my Dad's vinyl on to a cassette and played it all summer long on my little Panasonic cassette player / recorder.
MMJ may very well put together the absolute worst cover art out of all the bands I like. Still like their music (and for 2 bucks more than Amazon I got the physical disc at Target).

Now is the time to unwind for a moment and celebrate the evening's labors.

Raphael Saadiq's Instant Vintage is sublime.
Great stuff.
This would be a good deal at eMu, but for the hinky bitrate.
