@amclark - that duet looks intriguing - who's it by? Is there a link?
[Edit] - ah, the mighty Google tell's me it's the band name.
[Edit] Aaand found it.
edit - released today on emusic (and elsewhere) so first play - really like it. Accoustic guitar mixed in with a few other instruments on some tracks. Several tracks have a jazz feel. John Renbourn goes back to the 1960s folk scene in England, part of Pentangle at one stage.
Mid-1990s ambient (1994) involving an early Taylor Deupree. Got it out on a whim. Unfortunately it hasn't worn that well - the drones and synth notes sound very one-dimensional, the occasional beats not that interesting, Deupree's microsound focus is not there yet. It's one of those testaments to how sound design has moved on. (Whole 56 minute album is 99 cents as a single track on Amazon just in case anyone is into historical interest - it's OK as background music)
teams v. star slinger. it's kind of the anti-dj screw; instead of chopped n' screwed versions, it's chopped n' revved-up versions. if you can deal with chipmunk (i.e., sped-up) vocals, may be of interest. it's certainly an interesting exercise in "spotting the extended sample."
This seems to be an early album, much better than her recent EP. Great, full alto, slightly in the KD Lang timbre. Folked-up pop in the Feist vein? The arrangements are impressively big.

Some pretty cool electro-pop (I don't want to use the "crude version of early Magnetic Fields" tag again)
