Greensleeves dropped 3 slices of classic old school dub today (last 3 on the list). The Revolutionaries album feature the sound of 70s Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar. Sound is a little crude, but isn't that part of dub?
The Burnin Rain
Texas garage/punk/psych with snotty, off key vocals, vibrating sheets of organ cheese and guitars that echo and fuzz in a 60s drip, they even pay homage to their 13th floor-fathers with some electronic jug simulation in spots.
extra points for covering "Twisted Flower" by Cold Sun.

The Loons - Red Dissolving Rays Of Light, "This music teems with the dementia of such bona fide American whackos as Arthur Lee, Sky Saxon, Sean Bonniwell and Roky Erickson.
fuzzy pop psych.
it's the late 60s and Steve Miller is playing with Brian Wilson in his smiling sandbox; orange sunshine burns through the tiny plastic fire helmets strapped to their heads, tanning their minds and shining their electric grins.
so funky it hurts, fownky might better describe this rump rattling bastard.
recommended to those who like coming 'round the mountain when they come or falling asleep in canoes.......
thumping bass, acid guitar, sweaty horns, Zappa humor, funky angels and some international spice- that fleshy, smacking sound you're hearing is your ass starting without you.
The new Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti dropped early and is already over 5 bucks. I can't really get into them, but figured someone out there would be interested...
I'm diggin the Chillbone too - I always have a soft spot for fat, chewy basslines.
A new one to check out that might get lost in the shuffle is Viernes - Sinister Devices - kind of sounds like the Beach Boy playing chill out music in outerspace.

Sampled it. Very cool African/dub/funk vibe.
I got two of the three. Enjoyable, sounds like it was recorded on cardboard. Great stuff.
Shows what you know. It'll cost you more than two bucks to get a prostitute to spit in your face.

Sped right past DWIZZLE and jujubeebop, and are closing in on the hellhound from powell - I guess I better watch my back!
I have to admit that I've been a sucker for psych ever since stealing my older sister's 45 of Incense and Peppermints at the age of 7....
Ditto for Reggae after stealing her 45 of Desmond Dekker's Israelites around the same time.

sunny voices shining through spacey pop psych clouds and dappling odd little dancers on your afternoon mind.
uses harmony and twiddle like the OTC, PIpes You See and Sunshine Fix crowd, but with a little more quirk and pluck.
