First off, first day of my Christmas holidays, huzzah! 3 weeks to annoy the life out of the boy :p And yes, there are now 8 credits per day (an extra was added and the originals were topped up). There's a few more that will come on before NYE. Also, the content monkeys have been extremely hard at work and new music is starting to show up on the site. At the moment it is new stuff, but a few are sacrificing their holidays to get 'the big fix' working properly. So far so good. GP - Noted on those tracks, the list is actually getting pretty big now.
Hmm. I don't think things are working correctly. There's only a basic search (it doesn't bring up results as typing) and all my attempts to download fail.
@BT, I had the search problem last night, nothing showed up until I hit return, that worked like "show all." I downloaded 10-12 songs, no problem there.
Same here - downloads working, search is broken (only hitting return and getting everything yields results). That's not helpful for some things - try searching for "Can"!.
Super excited to see the new content going live-- like a lot of folks here, I had a bunch of downloads saved up!
Thought I would post some of my finds--
I'd been keeping an eye out for the new Rolling Stones box, Grrr! and that showed up yesterday-- got the whole deluxe 3-disc set, thanks Guvera! Today Taylor Swift's new album Red showed up, and I'm sampling that. Looks like Lady Antebellum's latest, Own the Night, is also now available--
I swear my taste does not normally run this pop-country, I've just been keeping an eye out the marquee Universal releases from the past few months.
Be curious to hear what other people are finding from the new content.
HI matthewsalibi - welcome! Thanks for posting.
I'm curious whether there's any way to identify the new content short of having a mental inventory of things one has searched for in the past in vain and searching for them again.

Hi, matthewsaibi, welcome aboard! I'm no fan of that form of country music, but I think the advantage of using Guvera is being able to try out all of of music distrubuted by UMG. It's good to know that the promise of new content is more than theoretical.
@matthew - thanks and welcome aboard. While those aren't really my cup of tea (I'll at least be sampling Taylor Swift... I mean her music) it's good to see more recent releases pop up. If nothing else, I'm more likely to grab a hit single from Guv when it's significantly catchy (see "Call Me Maybe").
@am - unfortunately no new Bat For Lashes yet, although all of her previous albums, eps and singles appear to be there.
No idea on the search - I've been out helping a friend 500kms away from home. Got home just before, very sunburnt...
'I'm curious whether there's any way to identify the new content short of having a mental inventory of things one has searched for in the past in vain and searching for them again.'
That's actually a really cool idea - I'm going to pass that one on.
GP - Just wanted to thank you for doing all the leg work (maybe arm work?) to post the all the jazz guide picks. I have so many downloads these days it sure is a handy reference guide for grabbing more to fill in gaps in my collection. So...thank you!
@dddanmar - even a list of artists who have albums added on the blog page would be a help.
@Rudie, you're welcome, glad it was helpful. I'm still working through it too - I don't like all of the "core" collection but I've downloaded 14 albums from that list so far.
It appears that, ever so slowly, some RCA artists are appearing: mostly popular artists' most recent albums--Keys, Kesha, Pink, Clarkson, other stuff I'll live without.
Guvera's back up again but not working well for me. Pages take a long time to refresh and the ads don't refresh when I click on them, and the brand pages won't load, so there is no way to get credits.
I lost a few credits today trying to download stuff while the site was wonky, but in the end I was able to get more than I lost, and it didn't seem safe to leave too much on the table. Easy come, easy go.
Doofy called it - we have actually been working for the last few days getting a few major things fixed. A few sleepless nights and waking up to alerts of problems, not a baby. All a part of working online ;).
GP - we are working on a few capacity fixes at the moment - within a few hours everything should run faster then before. There was a big push on a product in Australia that will come out to the US once we work out all of the teething problems (exactly like this).
Oh, just loaded a NYE bonus ad, that *might* give more credits then it says it will.
Back to it, search and all of the random issues will just magically start working over the next few hours :D
That's good to hear. I got excited when I was finally able to start downloading again this morning as I've got a bunch of credits, but eventually they all started timing out again.

And now, to the couch!
Happy holidays!

I'm going to check for that new Bat For Lashes too; another recent Universal one I wanted.

Hopefully the search starts working again, soon.

ETA, and working again.
ETA and broken again.
OMG, I was searching for something entirely else and found a werid album like I used to find on Mordac all the time...
VINTAGE TRAIN SOUNDS. It has 80 tracks. Woo hoo!
ETA: Except that search is broken again - not showing the list of possible hits.
