oOOps, to clarify, this is the "San Francisco Free Jazz Collective," not the SF Jazz Collective (which would have been awesome). Still sounds interesting, if not quite as awesome.
Shostakovich Piano Trios by The Greenwich Trio. Currently less than $1 for five tracks, I have only sampled the first track and it is very nice indeed. (I am not a classical music snob, though. I just think this is a decent sounding disc.)
Flashbacks to the Fela Kuti drop... Faith and the Muse - Elyria is showing as 'Free' but with no tracks and no price (trying to buy it results in the following error message: "The music you are trying to order is unavailable at this time. If you think this might be a mistake please contact us."). Not sure if this really is a sign that it will be officially made available or not in the near future. Something to keep an eye on I guess.
Holy heck... alot of KMFDM and other stuff is showing up in a similar fashion.
..and some stuff that is priced and available (Front242, Peter Murphy).
Damn, wish this had happened like a decade ago when I would have been grabbing everything from Metropolis. Less than 3 bucks for :Wumpscut:? Sign me up... when I was in my early 20s.
And no, I'm not making fun of the music. Just lamenting that no matter how excited I am by some of it appearing I really don't listen to any of the industrial stuff anymore.

Memories of every club I went to in the early to mid 1990s (Kontrol Factory, Helter Skelter, Perversion, Velvet, Stigmata) that I don't want to revisit.
Eight Belles, a folk/"chamber" pop sort of thing with female voices and lots of instruments/musicianship, kinda cool on first spin. Still free at 1 hour and counting...
Thanks for the links Doofy and luddite, I picked them both up.
I think ktripper might be boycotting this thread. I'm under the impression that he thinks I hijacked his previous thread (that wasn't my intent, I just thought it was way too long. I myself posted on it several times while it was going).
Already over $3, Arrington De Dionyso is one of my faves from last year. Try to imagine a mix of Captain Beefheart, Tuvan throat singing and no wave skronk.
Nice catch on the Bobby Previte. And I had to get and REC the hell out of Communist Daughter since I was listening to NMH all morning.
As much as I've been joking that my Industrial days are long gone, this imminent release caught my ear too much to pass up. For the noise addicts out there.

...must resist Apop singles collection...
Somewhat derivative, but being derivative of 70s Funk and Curtis Mayfield in particular is not necessarily a bad thing...
...probably not new to you though as I just noticed you originally linked this in the previous thread.

Meanwhile, worst bargain on Amie Street, by a longshot. Kapweeng!
I also picked up Gospel According To Time Records 1940's and 50's and My Father's Work
- Genuine Do-Wop from the fifties.
