Do they mail you the Scott code or what? I got an email from them but no code.

Pained me to do it, but I canceled Now Again. I really love that label, but if they're only putting out one release per month, $15 is just too much. I'd rather put that towards physical media.
-
I'm a little disappointed in Now Again. Seems like their philosophy is feast or famine with last month being huge and this month being one album. At $10 I'd be willing to risk it, but for $15 I'm not sure how long I'll hold out.
-
No rap though. It's always "I like all kinds of music, but no rap."
-
Bullmoose Jackson's Big Ten Inch Record is now Northern Soul? Lol.
-
That's not the album I'd recommend a Mahavishnu neophyte start with. Good luck with it, but if you really want to understand the band check Inner Mounting Flame.
-
They gave it to me again. I could keep going like this. Lol.
-
the new Beasties is the best thing they've done since Check Your Head.
-
Actually they are missing one track from the new Beasties. It's the one with Santagold guesting.
-
The sad thing is, so many of those 1500 albums are repeats. I pretty much own everything I'd be interested in already.
-
Perfect example of why I quit eMusic: they just lured me back in for a month with a first month for 99 cents deal. Ok, I got $11.99. Bought one album for $5.10, now I have $6.89 left. Most new releases are $6.99. Can't do that. Well, I could get a $…

Hang out on a jazz message board and you'll probably see that EU copyright law is discussed more than you'd think. Because if effects so much jazz, it's kind of a hot button issue.

Re Kraftwerk: Computer World and Electric Cafe/Techno Pop are also missing. (Warner distributes those in the US)

^ looks like the program that shows me how much space files are taking up on my hard drive.

Yeah I emailed CS and got the "one time courtesy" refund. Gee, thanks.
You may be right about the credit card companies applying pressure. I found out about the renewal because Capitol One's fraud department had flagged it as suspicious.… -
Interesting batch of new releases they've got there.

RE: James Brown. Those singles collections are amazing, but I feel they are more geared towards the hardcore Brown fan than the titles might indicate. Also, without the liner notes, you might wonder why you've just listened to the same song a couple…
-
Not surprised. IIRC, UMG distributed Fantasy stuff in some parts of the world.
-
It seems today's entry is a contest that's impossible to win. Look at that and tell me I'm missing something.
-
I can vouch for that Lester Young set. I have about six boxes from that company and while they aren't quite complete, they are organized well and have discographical information which is more than some public domain releases.
-
If you have a Half Price Books around, you might find those CDs and a few more titles from the same series for about the same price, if you'd rather have a physical release.

I'm stuck. I'm an annual.
-
I'm shocked the message board is still open. It'd be real easy to have an oops happen and it's all gone. Or they could just do like Blue Note did and let everyone know they're yanking it as punishment.
-
To get back on topic, looks like I'm stuck until February. Misread the "Your Account" stuff. Guess I'll try to make the best of it.
-
Too much work. You all have much more patience than I do.
-
Looks like my annual is done the 28th. That's as good a time as any to bow out.

I'll be gone as soon as my annual is done. The loss of Beggars combined with the new plan gives me zero incentive to stay.

Losing Beggars is huge.
